How to hire a contractor?
It is important to look at the history of the contractor and consider how long they have been in business. Don’t just believe what the contractor has told you. Ask for proof. Ask to see pictures of previous projects, copy of license and insurance documents, and see if they have a referral list to show you. A detailed written proposal is also a good sign that the contractor is professional. It is important that you feel comfortable with your contractor, and for the contractor to have good communication skills. A good contractor should keep you, the homeowner, informed throughout the entire project. Overall, a good contractor knows the importance of building last relationships with his customers.

When is the best time to do a home improvement project?

Most Projects can be done Year Round. In some cases we provide Discounts to Complete Projects in the off-seasons.

Is Quinn’s Home Improvement price competitive with the market?

Quinn’s does everything possible to keep up with current pricing. We check regularly with suppliers to ensure you, the homeowner, receive the best price possible without compromising the quality of product and service.

How long will my project take?

Most Projects can be completed in a week, depending on the type of project.

What about permits?

We will provide all necessary permits, if the proper permits are not used the city has the right to condemn your house.

Do you use subcontractors?
In most cases we do not, however, depending on the needs of the homeowner it may be necessary to do so, but only if we see it beneficial to the homeowners needs

Is your company licensed, bonded, and insured?
Quinn’s is a licensed contractor and we have general liability insurance as well as workman’s compensation insurance. We will show you a copy of our license and insurance when we give you an estimate.

How long have you been in business?
We have been in business since 1993.

Do you have any local references?
Quinn’s would love to show you our list of references, let you read letters from previous customers, and show you pictures of work we have completed. We have previous customers who are more than willing to let others come and look at their home as an example of our quality workmanship.

Have your employees received any special training and/or certifications?
Quinn’s installers are provided with product-specific training from the manufactures themselves. You can rest assured that our installers know about the products themselves and how to properly install them. Here are Quinn’s we have our own team of skilled workmen who are employees of Quinn’s. We do have a few other companies we work with if you project requires extensive electrical work, concrete pouring, and things of that nature. Quinn’s also randomly drug tests our installation crew.

What type of warranty does your company offer?
Quinn’s gives you a written warranty in addition to the manufacturer’s warranty on our products and services, and usually gives a workmanship warranty for at least two years. You will receive your warranty once the project is complete and has been paid. We will show you examples of our product-specific warranties at the time of your estimate
